Kurt Thompson, CGIA, CIC, CID, CIT, CLIA, CLWM, owner of K. Thompson and Associates LLC, has been in the landscape and irrigation industry since 1982. Thompson has worked as a landscape and irrigation contractor and in landscape and irrigation wholesale distribution, irrigation manufacturing, and water-use consulting and training. Since 1988, he has educated thousands of contractors, architects, designers and golf course superintendents across the United States. Thompson's speaking and training resume includes many of the United States and Canadian irrigation and turfgrass associations, universities and community colleges, as well as distributors and contractors.
