Calvin Hale, Director of Education for Gicon Pumps and Equipment started his career in the water systems business 33 years ago as a driller's helper. During his years in the industry, Hale has worked for various pump distributors and manufacturers as a product manager as well as owning his own business. Hale joined Gicon Pump and Equipment in 2006 as a territory manager. While holding several roles throughout his tenure at Gicon, Hale's most prized responsibility has been as director of education. Hale currently teaches pump school, CEU courses for four water associations and three irrigation associations. His education background includes studies at Tarrant County College in physics, chemistry and creative writing.
