2:00 AM - 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time
Greywater is an option for all projects. It does not have to be 100% of the irrigation source, but each gallon used is one less to account for with potable water. This webinar will highlight different greywater irrigation strategies you can adopt for your business and conserve water in the process. We will go over the key elements, the plumbing source of the greywater and the diversion options. Then, we will discuss how to use the greywater in the landscape, from simple laundry to tree options to full shower to turf grass. Ask a few clients if they would like to use greywater within the landscape; 94% of all clients are saying yes. This webinar is worth one CEU in the Tier 1 - Irrigation Training category.

    • Joseph D. Gallegos
      President
      Grey4Green
Joseph Gallegos is a leading expert in using alternative waters on landscapes. His presentations and research demonstrate that green, lush landscapes are needed to reduce urban heat island effect. Thus, greywater and other alternatives for water reuse are more about the positive environmental effects they enable than the water conservation. Gallegos is president of the Greywater Manufacturers Association, a leading organization assisting policymakers in designing greywater-friendly building codes. He is also president of Grey4Green, a greywater irrigation equipment manufacturer for homes and commercial applications.
